I’m going to use this post as a temporary place to post pictures, to aid communication with Roger in my workshop, discussing things I’ve noticed in our new Veritas Imaging clinic, that I want to improve by building custom-made items.
In each Ultrasound room, are these laundry bag holders. I’d like them to have wood surrounding them, to hide most of the bag, but keep the metal on the inside, because it has nice springy flexibility to put bags. I think our wood box surrounding the bag, should have a door that opens, so sonographers don’t have to lift a full laundry bag vertically upward to remove it.
Next, in our two small bathrooms, I’d like a tray made to fit onto these small countertops, a tray for cloth hand towels. A “Fresh” pile, and a “Used” discard pile, so the tray would have two halfs.
Next, the curtain in the mammography room, is OK, but I think it needs us to add something extra on each side of the curtain.
Next, in the mammography room, is this metal cabinet, that I think is ugly and scary. I want to build a cabinet around it, and also a better surface tray on top to set our 2 most commonly used compression paddles on top. And, a cupboard that can hide that Kleenex and washcloth and disinfectant spray.
In the mammography room, there is an exposed electrical pipe thing in the corner of the room, that I would like hidden by something attractive.
