Jousting. (about to announce the winners)
Here’s a youtube video showing these musicians playing to entertain the people waiting for the jousting to begin. And here’s a joust short video on youtube.
A few more random things.
In my commercial flight home, the aircraft ceilins were illuminated with colored LEDs that gave very relaxing mix of blue and green (sky and grass colors) plus some pinks and purples. That would be nice on the ceiling of my office. (There’s probably some science supporting those colors.)
Next door to the Goodwood Aerodrome (where we did our flight training), is the Rolls-Royce factory. We stopped in, and asked how to get a tour. The friendly receptionist lied to us, saying it could only be booked via their website. So we left, and looked at every link on their website, and couldn’t find any tour info. Rolls-Royce, you’ve lost a future customer.
More pictures from the fair.
This forge on a cart was an authetic re-creating. Can you see how one bellows goes up while the other goes down? And the coals in the wooden box, on a wooden cart, don’t set the cart on fire. That was amazing. The wood box just has to be airtight.
Carving wooden spoons, with an axe blade.
This weapon would get stuck a lot. Maybe that’s by design, if you need to cling onto a dragon.
