Pumphouse expansion, to create more storage space.
This little workshed was used by the previous owner of the property. It was crowded with tools storage and too small to actually work. That’s why I’m expanding the pumphouse, to get rid of this little old workshed.
Now its already being used as a warm workspace to epoxy some boards for the dock.
February 6, 2014 update. Don might be able to begin the hunt for this boat, which is of interest to my neighbor Daryl.
( possible lead: might be owned by Alan Short, a lawyer at 1010 Lee road, 250-248-9459… obtained address and phone number by googling. All of this unconfirmed at the moment.)
Now beginning discussion of modifying this window, so the lower half gives privacy while the upper half has a clear view outside from shoulder height.
And replacing this sliding glass door,
We’re considering buying 3 of these dressers to fit into the wall.

Here are extra pictures of the bottom of the sliding door, because floor is different heights on inside and outside. (with further apologies to general blog surfers.. these pictures will only be useful in the future when I am conversing with carpenters about how to solve the problems of sealing up this opening and replacing it with insulated wall with drawers, and a window above.)
