I did a solo flight over Edmonton and managed to get a few pictures of my house. And a few other points of interest.

East of Edmonton, near Cooking Lake, is an amazing big house with a Ferris Wheel.

When I landed back in Camrose, I did another power-off simulated forced landing, but this time I had too much altitude on final approach. Long story… cut to the end… I had a big hard bounce on my right landing gear. No damage, so it’s nice to have a tough plane!
May 13, 2012 update. It was a nice day for a walk around my neighborhood, so I took some photos of my house at ground level, to add to this post.
June 8, 2012 update. I found a video of pretty snowflakes, falling outside my window.
