A new ultrasound clinic in Camrose is being created. It will be inside the Radiology area of the Smith Clinic. Called “Veritas Imaging”, where veritas means “Truth”. The website veritasimaging.ca is shaping up.

Fir Timbers
Apparently, one of my hobbies is “buying things on Kijiji”, and sometimes some pretty strange things. Here’s my latest purchase: A truckload of old Fir timbers.
March 17, 2012 update. Work on assembly of some of these timbers, is begun. The pictures will be posted on this page.
October 6, 2011 update: About 20% of the timbers have been cleaned-up so far, using handheld power-planar and handheld belt-sander. (I hired a guy, and luckily so far, he is enjoying the work.)
Workshop

Glenrothes scotch
Why do I post pictures like this, my favorite brand of scotch? Glenrothes. I just had my camera out, taking pictures of other things, and I thought, the next time my mother asks what I’d like for my birthday, I can show her this. ( and hopefully avoid a repeat of the time she went to a liquor store and asked for Glen-something-er-other.)

March 29, 2013 update. On a walk today on the island, I took pictures of the amazing machines that my neighbors have, which, if I can arrange to borrow or rent them, could help clear brush and landscape my properties.

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer

My office and various scanners
Here’s my office at the hospital. There are 3 PCs with 7 big monitors, plus a good sound system, and a great coffee maker, all of which help me stay happy at work.
