Where highway 21 crosses highway 13, west of Camrose, there is a new traffic circle under construction.
It’s more like a horseshoe, than a circle. Maybe drivers who fall asleep can get stuck in a man-made swamp in the middle. Ducks Unlimited. How about a Tim Hortons along the side?

Surfing Tofino BC
I flew into Tofino to pick my family. Deanna was doing surfing school, and Jenny enjoyed the town, hotel and restaurants. Here are some amazing photographs of the beaches, waves, surfers and town. Let’s start with Long Beach, and the airport in the distance.
Next will be other beaches with lots of surfers.

Future platform for eagle nest – flyby
While flying by Hudson island, here’s photos of the platform that Don put up, (along with a cellphone booster antenna, which works fantastically). This project started on an earlier post, and will continue with more to be added. Anyway, here’s the photos.

Pacific Clouds
Clouds moving over the Pacific Ocean. This is a little experiment I’m doing, capturing clouds moving during the day, using Google Earth. I think it’s been going on for quite a while.
Sushi – Singapore
While in Singapore, we had dinner at Hide Yamamoto. Although Mikado in Edmonton is a little pricey by Edmonton standards, it’s 1/4 of the price of Hide Yamamoto. We had kinds of raw fish that I’ve never seen available anywhere before, so we tried it. These may look ordinary, but they are not.

the Camrose roll – sushi at Mikado
The Mikado Japanese restaurant in South Edmonton Common has a new creation, the Camrose Roll. I have a lot of friends in Camrose, who may be curious to try this. It probably won’t stay on their menu for long, unless it becomes very popular.
