May 30, 2012 update. I’m back from Toronto after my second hair transplant surgery, which actually moved my own hair follicles from the back to the front. A lot of changes in my appearance.
People often say to me, “you must be very happy and proud”. Suprisingly though, I have found it very hard to adapt to accepting my new appearance as being me. But at least I’ve stopped identifying with my old appearance in photos.
I had weight loss of 65 pounds after a 3 month diet. Then some plastic surgeries. They are hair transplant, chin implant, and eyelids. My diet continues even now. I don’t eat sugar, starch, or grains. Mostly I’m still eating high quality proteins from chicken, egg whites, scallops, and a lot of red peppers and cucumbers. And, I admit, too much peanut butter. Exercising continues. I walk 2 hours a day, lift dumbbells, and do Zumba 4 days a week.
May 26, 2012 update. From my second hair transplant, and I got have a couple pictures from the actual procedure. Apologies to those who hate to be suprised by gross pictures.
And the next morning, I had dimples created by the FACE cosmetic clinic in Toronto. Yes, the dimples are a big change! and they were quite an implusive decision. They are still quite deep, but should end up shallower later.
