The way I look, hair growing longer and a few other subtleties.
I guess I must have photoshopped myself, except in real life. Compared to What I looked like in 2011:
One of my aquarium fish (my last Bangai Cardinal) developed a tumor, and died.
I added playstation gaming in front of treadmills, (one at home, one at hangar), that I use every day.
This beautiful grand piano was my mothers. It was in our house growing up, and loved by all. But over the years it became unplayably out-of-tune and key responses were uneven. I offered to pay for its restoration, (by Bruce Bischoff of Piano Action, in Sherwood Park), at first thinking $5000, but turned out to be a $10,000 project. It came back with all new strings and actions, preserving the outer frame, soundboard and inner steel. My mother gave it to my youngest brother, Glen Halls. Here it is:
December 30, 2012 update. Still december..not to late to add a bit more. My daughter bought a new car, a Nissan Rogue, (while I sat in the car outside the dealership, doing an emergency CT scan).
I looked at digital pianos to gift my mom, because there’s no longer a piano at her house. These would cost $5400 or $7000.
And I looked at picture frames, wondering if I could re-create this style in my own workshop.
These frames feature a cloth mat material, stained black, glued onto a slightly curved mat backing.
