I brought back from the island, these pictures of various metalworking and blacksmithing machines, which are currently in storage (crudely out of the rain), awaiting a proper place to put them into.
Actually, this is a picture of a mess in front of the woodshed, which needs to be cleaned up.
This is more junk, in front of the pumphouse. Needs to be cleaned up.
This on a wagon, on the right, is part of the powerhammer. on the left is part of a drill press.
Here’s a great belt sander. Behind it is a heavy steel table. In the foreground is the base of a vise.
Here’s a bending machine with the black base in the foreground. Under it is a pallet of tongs. Behind it is a fume hood for mounting above a coal forge.
A better view of the bending machine, and the tongs. Very nice heavy tongs!
In the foreground is an anvil, mounted quite high on a black tube stand. In the background on a square red stand, is a vise.
Here’s the hydraulic-powered planishing hammer.
In the background, a swage block. In the foreground, a stand with a lot of different shaped inserts for shaping armour.
The lovely gas-saver device, that shoots flame when the pedal is stepped-on.
Containers containing tooling. I didn’t look inside. Hopefully some good stuff.
An alternate view of the power hammer, and a heavy drill press.
English Wheel, and in the foreground on the pallet is probably part of the milling machine.
